This timely session explores key immigration developments shaping 2026. Led by an experienced immigration attorney, the presentation will provide practical updates on recent policy changes, enforcement priorities, and humanitarian relief options. Attendees will gain insight into executive actions, USCIS processing updates, immigration court decisions, and what these shifts mean for families and individuals. The session will also address current DHS and ICE enforcement trends, what to expect during encounters with immigration officials, and proactive steps to reduce risk. Participants will learn about options available if detained, including bond proceedings, habeas corpus, motions to reopen, stays of removal, credible fear claims, and other forms of relief. The program concludes with guidance on empowering communities through Know-Your-Rights education, responsible advocacy, and knowing when to refer individuals to qualified legal services, followed by an interactive Q&A session.

Kelvin Rosado

Kelvin Rosado is an immigration attorney licensed in Maryland, Puerto Rico, and before the U.S. Immigration Courts nationwide. With over a decade of experience, he represents clients in removal defense, familybased, employment-based, and humanitarian immigration matters. His practice serves Los Angeles– Glendale, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Maryland. Before founding his firm in 2022, Mr. Rosado served as Managing Attorney at a multistate immigration law firm in Los Angeles and as Supervising Attorney at a nonprofit in the Baltimore–Washington, D.C. area, where he led and mentored attorneys. He is a frequent legal commentator on Univision, Telemundo, and Vision Latina, educating the community on immigrants’ rights. Mr. Rosado is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and serves as Immigration Advisor for LULAC California.
